Beef & Broccoli

Save on take out with this Beef & Broccoli recipe - quick and easy!

 

***If you are looking to make low carb, use cauliflower rice instead of pasta.

 

INGREDIENTS: 

 

1/4 cup coconut aminos or low sodium soy sauce
1/2 cup water, or beef broth
2 teaspoons rice vinegar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon ginger powder
2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil
2 cups broccoli florets
1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 pound lean ground beef
green onion , sliced, for garnish
sesame seeds, for garnish
rice for serving

 

DIRECTIONS:

Whisk the coconut aminos, water, rice vinegar, cornstarch, garlic powder and ginger in a small bowl and set aside.

Cook broccoli to desired doneness and set aside.

Cook ground beef in pan and season lightly with salt and pepper.

Add the cooked broccoli back to the pan and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir for 1 to 2 minutes to allow the sauce to thicken.

Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
