Easily customizable and perfect for a busy weeknight, this protein packed meal is also great for reheating!
***If you are looking to make low carb, use cauliflower rice instead of pasta.
I did not measure anything for this recipe but here are the ingredients I used.
Bow tie pasta - To sneak in vegetables, add in some cauliflower rice!
Your favorite pizza sauce (You may need to jars if making in a 9x13 pan)
Ground Beef (pre-cooked)
Pepperoni
Fresh Mozzarella
Fresh Parmesan
Cook noodles to directions on box, be sure not to over cook. Drain and set aside.
Turn oven on to Broil.
Toss cooked pasta in pizza sauce, making sure that they are covered well.
Add desired amount of ground beef to bowl and mix. Add more pizza sauce if needed.
Pour pasta mixture into baking dish.
Top with pepperoni and fresh mozzarella.
Broil until cheese is bubbly and browned slightly.
Top with grated parmesan cheese and enjoy!
Note: If you do not want to cook the noodles, you can add them uncooked and bake the dish instead of broiling. Be sure to add some water to the pizza sauce mix for moisture to cook the noodles and cover the pan with foil while cooking.
