Marinated Flank Steak

Marinated Flank Steak

Flank Steak is the perfect cut for a quick marinade. With a quick cooking time, you can make this anytime.

Ingredients

2 Tbsp soy sauce

1 Tbsp chili sauce (I only had hot chili oil and used that)

1 Tbsp ginger paste or powder

1 Tbsp chopped garlic (use what you have!)

1 Tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp sesame oil

1 D&D Beef flank steak ~1lb

Optional dipping sauce: I Tbsp soy sauce mixed with 1/2 Tbsp chili sauce.

Directions

Add all ingredients, except the flank steak, to a bowl and mix until combined. Pour mixture into a large Ziploc bag, add Flank Steak to bag and press all the extra air out of the bag. Make sure marinade covers steak entirely and let sit for at least 1 hour.

Cook Flank Steak over medium high heat, approximately 3-4 minutes per side. Let steak rest prior to cutting, be sure to cut steak against the grain.

Garnish with sesame seeds or green onions.

Enjoy!
