Jalapeno Popper Dip

Jalapeno Popper Dip

The perfect party dip, or let's be honest, any time you want! 

 

INGREDIENTS:

slices cooked bacon chopped into small pieces
1 8-oz block cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup sour cream 
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 jalapeños, minced 
1 1/2 cup shredded cheddar
1 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack
Pepper to taste
**When I made this recipe, I did not use 1/3 cup sour cream. I used 1/2 cup mayo instead of 1/3 to substitute the sour cream.

DIRECTIONS:

1. Preheat oven to 350F. In a large bowl, stir cream cheese, mayo, sour cream, garlic powder, jalapenos, and 1 cup of cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese. 

2. Transfer to a oven safe baking dish, sprinkle with remaining cheese.

3. Bake until dip is golden, approximately 15 minutes.

4. Serve with your favorite chips!
